A festival, and what holds it up.
LeleKai is a festival of hybrid cinema for the next generation — and the school network that feeds it. We work adjacent to the Cannes Film Festival. We teach the kids the tools that studios actually use. We put the films they make on a real stage.
The order matters. Festival first. School network underneath. Mentors, tools, and a screening at the end — not a curriculum we sell.
We work with a growing network of European schools, taught by directors and editors who do this for a living. Governments back the festival because it answers a real cultural-policy question. Brands back it because the work that comes out is real, not influencer churn.
The festival is adjacent to the Cannes Film Festival. Not the red carpet — the room next to it. We have worked alongside the festival for years.
Europe is the home base. The work moves where the kids are.
